What information we collect
If you contact us through the website, we may collect your name, email address, company name and the contents of your message.
Our hosting and security providers may also process technical information generated when you visit the site, such as your IP address, request time, browser or device information, requested pages and security-related information.
If you choose to schedule a meeting through Calendly, the information you provide through Calendly is also handled by Calendly under its own privacy terms. We may receive the resulting booking information.
Why we use this information
We use personal information to:
- Respond to questions and project enquiries.
- Discuss or take steps toward a possible business engagement.
- Arrange meetings you request.
- Operate, protect and troubleshoot the website.
- Prevent spam, abuse and fraudulent traffic.
- Meet legal or regulatory obligations where they apply.
Where an enquiry relates to a possible contract, processing may be necessary to take steps at your request before entering into that contract.
For ordinary business communications, website operation and security, we may also process information where necessary for our legitimate interests in running and protecting the business, provided those interests do not override your rights.
Where processing is required by law, we process the information as necessary to meet that obligation.
Who receives the information
We use a limited number of service providers to operate the website and communications.
These currently include Vercel for website hosting and infrastructure, Resend for contact-form email delivery, and our email provider for receiving and storing business email.
If you choose to book a meeting, Calendly is used for scheduling.
We may also disclose information to professional advisers or public authorities where reasonably necessary or legally required.
We do not sell personal information and do not provide it to third parties for advertising.
International processing
Some of our service providers may process information outside the European Economic Area.
Where an international transfer requires safeguards under applicable data-protection law, we rely on the transfer mechanisms and safeguards made available by the relevant provider, such as an applicable adequacy framework or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected.
As a working retention rule, enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are normally deleted or anonymised within 24 months after the last meaningful contact.
If an enquiry becomes a client relationship, relevant communications and records may be retained for the duration of that relationship and afterwards where reasonably required for contractual, accounting, tax, dispute-resolution or other legal purposes.
Technical and security logs are retained according to our infrastructure and security settings and are not kept longer than reasonably necessary for those purposes.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to request access to your personal information, correct inaccurate information, request deletion, restrict certain processing, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and receive certain information in a portable form.
Where processing is based on consent, you may also withdraw that consent.
You can exercise these rights by contacting hello@anothercup.com.
If you are in Portugal or otherwise covered by EU data-protection law, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority, including Portugal's Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD).
Cookies and analytics
Another Cup currently does not use advertising cookies or behavioural advertising.
We also do not currently use website analytics that track visitors for marketing purposes.
The site may use limited browser storage where technically necessary for normal site behaviour.
If we introduce non-essential analytics, advertising technology or similar tracking in the future, we will update this notice and introduce consent controls where required.
Automated decisions
We do not use information submitted through anothercup.com to make automated decisions about you or to profile you.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice when the website, our providers or our legal obligations change. The date at the top of this page shows the latest revision.
